Informational Meeting to be held on the Siskiwit River Preservation Project

On June 29th at 7 PM there will be an informational update and Q and A period for those not acquainted with the Siskiwit Reiver Preservation Project to be held at the Community Center. This will be the final meeting before the public will vote to acquire or to decline the purchase the property formerly known as the Dorothy Swenson and the Doreau land along the Siskiwit River.  The meeting will be conducted in an orderly fashion and anyone wishing to ask questions or make comments will have up to two opportunities to speak.  Speaking will be limited and set by a timer.  The actual voting is scheduled to start at 6 PM July 11th at the Community Center. That will be followed by the regular July Board Meeting at the end of voting.  Only registered voters in the Town of Bell will be allowed to vote. There will be no absentee voting allowed.  Non-voting property owners are encouraged to attend the meetings, however.
