The purpose of the South Shore Trail Club is to maintain area trails, propose and design new trails, and support the legal, safe and fun use of these trails. Both snowmobilers and ATVers are members of the club, located on the south shore of beautiful Lake Superior.
Currently, the club has about 40 members, with many living outside the south shore area. Annual dues are $20 family, $15 single, $25 business, payable in the spring of each year. Dues payments can be mailed to P. O. Box 193, Port Wing, WI 54865
The club meets 7 times a year, beginning in April, on the third Saturday of each month, 9:00 a.m. at the Port Bar & Restaurant, Port Wing. All ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts are welcome to attend any meeting! Please join us soon.
Club members try to have a couple of “fun runs” each year, plus the few working days necessary to keep the trail clean of debris.
The club is a member of the Bayfield County ATV Association, the Bayfield County Snowmobile Alliance, the Wisconsin ATV Association,. and the Blue Ribbon Coalition, and works directly with the Bayfield County Tourism Office.
