Bayfield County will be hosting three Flu Immunization Clinics this fall. The scheduled dates are:

• Wednesday – October 7^th – 11am to 7pm – Washburn Fire Hall (1021 N Washington Ave)
• Wednesday – October 14^th – 11am to 7pm – Drummond Fire Hall (62650 Front Ave)
• Tuesday – October 20^th – 11am to 7pm – Port Wing Fire Hall (83030 Pennsylvania Ave)

Each of the Fire Halls listed is a “drive through” facility. Those wishing to be vaccinated will be directed to enter through a designated entry door, be registered, screened and immunized inside, sticky note with time of immunization placed on windshield, and directed to a parking area outside to wait 15 minutes where EMTs will assess and reassess to assure no adverse reactions before being released from the site.

Bayfield County Health Department accepts Medicare and Badgercare. Children six months through eighteen years of age may receive the immunization for free. Self pay costs are $30 for the regular flu shot and $60 for the high dose flu shot.
